Featuring the centerpeice - Heart, this piece aims to capture that the heart completes.
Just yesterday I attended a lecture by a very cute and bubbly Chinese lecturer on " When X meets Y".
She describes that times has changed. people are now required to lead a "C type life" when in the past you live a good life with just a "I type life". "I" refers to linear, where in the past, all you need to get a good life is study, get good grades, then work in a good firm. Now a dynamic person leads a C-type circular life where one can do everything at one time, go back to the starting point and start all over again.

This piece is dedicated to dear hubby.
Hubby works in a European firm and worked in Munich some time back.
Time was pretty BAD then, yah, he better look at this :P
SG and MUC was a whoppy 7h time difference.
Yah and be it separated by the distance, or the time, hubby calls me.... rather, I morning call him early every morning ....heehee:P ...just to talk to him :)
And got scolded by him :( for disturbing his sleep :P

When Mars meets Venus

This piece is inspired from "Discoball" and was remembered as "Discoball illuminated".
No no , one is not good enough, pure opaque is not good enough
thus, it was born as two-in-one, with the mix of transparent yellow Swarovski crystal to create movement and make the piece more lively and interesting.
One is monotonous, two is interesting.
This piece was done to celebrate the vibrancy and vigour of couples in love.

I was looking for gold, and found my dark gold, satisfied...or so I thought...
Then I overhead the shop boss telling another customer about his infamous gold..
wow bright and brilliant!
He said that he was the only shop that sells this in the whole of SE Asia, wow...
and that stocks are running out fast, wow....
not that it needs any more persuasion.
the price of this packet was twice that of the rest, ouch....
nevertheless, into my basket it goes,
perfect, goes well with my dark gold.
and so I made a round ball, dropped from silver, showing the contrast of the brilliance, all 3 of them.

my heart desires

The creation arise out from my two favourite things, pink is my favourite color, heart is my favourite shape.
I've always felt that the heart is the key to all things difficult to explain by rationalizing.
It has the answer
ever so warm, so pink, it's beating, it's simple
this design showcases the heart, its flows, affecting everything that is around it, transforming into pink, maroon, purple.... the colors of warmth and understanding
May there be peace, may there be love, may there be warmth...

Inspired by my solemnization wedding bouquet...



The story goes that we went back to my hubby's place after our solemnization dinner. I put my bouquet on the dressing table that was just beside our bedside. See the pic of my bouquet above, isn't it lovely? :)
The next morning I woke up and open my eyes and the first thing I saw.....
nope nope... not my hubby, it was my bouquet....heehee, cos I was facing directly at it...hahaha
and suddently ...yes, you got it... Jimmy Neutron brainwave passed through me again and I made 'Dazzling pixie'

This is a very challenging work.
created to product 3D effect of holding a bouquet on one hand, close your eyes and can imagine walking down the isle. every strand was twisted carefully and dear hubby use his gentle brutal strength to twist all to make it's stem. Yes, you seen it right, gentle because he didnt break a single crystal at all hee hee :P... yet strong enough to formed its shape.
To be made of pastel light colors , pink was THE choice. A very sweet light pastel luminous green was chosen to match it. Ah...Perfect.
Pink flowers are so sweet so simple so naive, yet this piece is far from simple. Sophistication is demonstrated in its entirety.
petals sweet enough to love like crazy, yet stalks rugged enough to let you depend on.
It symbolize the inner strength to hold all petals up, to uphold, to contain.

Renamed "Bouquet"

-> hubby after a long long time stil thinks that it's best call Bouquet ,because it looks like a bouquet and it's a simple sweet name.

I also think so, thus renamed "Bouquet"

As I was only halfway through doing it, I found I chanced upon another of its sibling.Thus was born 'Growing up'
Flowers can be seen growing down the vines, simple flowers, yet with a tinge of rebellious stride, greyish spots dotted over petals, not shy to stand up against tradition.
Like a young child growing up, learning new things of the world.
Gentle yet strong.
inexperience yet confident.
The wonders of growing up.

When I first saw the fire opal on the Swarovski crystal chart in the shop, I was simply stunned!

How could there be such an amazing color!!!! Orange with tinge of fiery red, burning like fire sprouts from volcano

Immediately, I knew I have to have that!

And I knew just the thing I could do with it...heehee

poker choker

Just realize that I have never posted this choker before


this is my sister's fav choker piece, the first piece i gave to mum.
mum has short hair, so this is especially customize to suit her
mum is a very interesting cute person, her quirky personality can be reflected in my piece.

I call it 'poker' because it reminds me of a day in casino....heehee :P
this one taken by myself quite sometime back, so as you can see, I don't do my pieces justice with my phototaking skills :(

Poker Choker

twinkle in the skies

born on 31 May 2007 in Singapore, in the morning of Vesak day

I had the design in mind when I went to purchase the Swarovski crystals.

The pendulum effect is materialize using Swarovski clear teardrop crystal. The shine is simply gorgeous and mesmerize me, no way I could leave it there on the shelf

I also got stunning mini Swarovski crystal, my infatuation. simply amazing how a small little nothing like that do could do wonders.

it sparkle like stars, thus jimmy neutron like brainwave again oooze through me....

'Dark skies, bright stars': a ray of light in my life

So I particularly selected clear 3mm crystals that is not so bright sparkling symbolizing sky.

Needless to say, the mini Swarovski wonders sparkles like stars

the highlight piece hypnotizing you from beneath............
