Timepiece

Timepiece...
everlasting time....
Eternal classics......
inspired by 2 main points :
1) a comment by colleague over 'Grapes' for more color in a piece to attain a more versatile piece that could be worn with countless outfits,
2) struck by Jimmy Neutron tingtingting brainwave halfway through Timepiece construction that some vines with a tinge of bronze could do well for everlasting effect.....

Thus introducing

grapes

FRESH FROM THE OVEN (1 Jun 07)
- redesigned
special thanks to hubby for taking the wonderful photos. He's just been enlisted by me as my photographer
- At the Vineyard has just found a lovely owner to take care of her. wish her all the best. At the Vineyard's sister has also found a nice owner, she will show herself sometime later in march, where her dear shotscreen is taking a trip in usa.
ciao...

this is my most treasured piece, the one I'm most proud of heehee...

introducing At the Vineyard, inspired by wine and grapes
most say it looks like a pair of grapes, do you think so?

comprising of 5 different types of Swarovski crystals in the series of blue.
It's a modern exquiste pair, most certainly very stunning when matched with dark blue chiffon flowy dress to wear to a evening dinner!

My fascination was in bending wire when I made this pair. In fact I got obsessed with bending wires so much that it was most certainly portrayed on close view of this tiny grape.
wires were hooked through in interlocking loops, one over the other.
my signature on this piece is the white tiny crystal located about half a cm lower from the middle, popping out saying hello from its small circular window (see if you can find it :P)

At the Vineyard (S$28) (SOLD)
Sparkling like champagne...where the vines's finest harvest is

This piece has a younger sister, born from a request to cater to shorter hair personnel.
it's born yesterday, will get her to see you all soon :)

of hair and ...just hair

FINALLY!!!!!

Haven't been able to catch some time to do my beading... finally manage to finish 2 works....introducing firstly the elaborate work that i manage to complete after doing for months... Modern Blue , doing a little at a time. then, i was very inspired by dark blue, thus this concept of modern blue. sparkling throughout the entire hairpiece, the sparkles intersect in the middle, your silky hair doing its peek-a-poo, shy as it is.

it's easy to use, consist of 2 hair comb. just comb in one hairpiece on the left, comb in the other hairpeice on the right, adjust it a little and bingo...swiss swop zzzzz...there u have modern blue sparkling down the lane! even got my model showcasing the final product heehee....

Modern Blue (S$40) (SOLD)

and finally my newest piece, Of Circle and Cycle, inspired by round circles and the concept of cycle. I termed this my recycling project. The shape of the wheel is inspired by circles. sparkling grey beads are hooked in circles, and across like a ship steering wheel. Recycled materials were used. The base clip was the result of a broken hairclip and was made use as the bone of the new clip. red ribbon left over from previous projects were used. in an attempt to darken the luminous bright red ribbon, black and grey beads were chosen .the white base where the beads were hooked to form the steering wheel was recycled from a earring experiment.
