Sakura

Sakura was born!

Inspired for a dear friend who just got married and went over to lived with dear Ken in Hokkaido.
This piece was originally nickname 'Heirloom', inspired by wedding creations.
It uses pink opaque Swarovski crystal to elude a sense of warmth gentleness.
Drops were added to give a delicate elegance feel.
Hubby later took a shot of it against my coffee table, thus the name 'Sakura' was born.
Dear Sakura, enjoy your time in Hokkaido. And Farene do bring her out during cherry blossoms time :)


my friend from japan came up with this:
A galaxy of delicate pink stars adorn a web of audacious brown.
One softens while the other adds strength.
The natural harmony of the cherry blossom:
so wondrous, so inspiring.

My mum's patchwork quilt

A breakthrough....

the moment i set my eyes on that cute very 3D feel base, I knew that's it.

haha, it is a bit on the chunky side, but you'll be amazed at how it has been transformed

it's many cubicles are very versatile.

thus, i adopt a weaving approach for this.

to be bright, to be colourful, yet to still maintain vintage trace

I grew happier as I do it, weaving in and out.

I was reminded of how mums labouriously put pieces of cloth together to form a warmth quilt for their children.

So I hope that you will similarly feel the sincerity and warmth in wearing this piece:

2. If the item is available, Full Payment must be made in advance via Funds Transfer/Deposit (POSB Account Only) into our account before your order can be processed and sent. All account and delivery details will be corresponded through email. Your order will be shipped once your order is received. Meet up at selected MRT stations available at no extra charge for orders above $50.


3. Delivery charge of S$1 for normal mail and S$3 for registered mail for every order not exceeding 200 grames in weight in a single envelope.

Featuring the centerpeice - Heart, this piece aims to capture that the heart completes.
Just yesterday I attended a lecture by a very cute and bubbly Chinese lecturer on " When X meets Y".
She describes that times has changed. people are now required to lead a "C type life" when in the past you live a good life with just a "I type life". "I" refers to linear, where in the past, all you need to get a good life is study, get good grades, then work in a good firm. Now a dynamic person leads a C-type circular life where one can do everything at one time, go back to the starting point and start all over again.

This piece is dedicated to dear hubby.
Hubby works in a European firm and worked in Munich some time back.
Time was pretty BAD then, yah, he better look at this :P
SG and MUC was a whoppy 7h time difference.
Yah and be it separated by the distance, or the time, hubby calls me.... rather, I morning call him early every morning ....heehee:P ...just to talk to him :)
And got scolded by him :( for disturbing his sleep :P

This piece is inspired from "Discoball" and was remembered as "Discoball illuminated".
No no , one is not good enough, pure opaque is not good enough
thus, it was born as two-in-one, with the mix of transparent yellow Swarovski crystal to create movement and make the piece more lively and interesting.
One is monotonous, two is interesting.
This piece was done to celebrate the vibrancy and vigour of couples in love.

I was looking for gold, and found my dark gold, satisfied...or so I thought...
Then I overhead the shop boss telling another customer about his infamous gold..
wow bright and brilliant!
He said that he was the only shop that sells this in the whole of SE Asia, wow...
and that stocks are running out fast, wow....
not that it needs any more persuasion.
the price of this packet was twice that of the rest, ouch....
nevertheless, into my basket it goes,
perfect, goes well with my dark gold.
and so I made a round ball, dropped from silver, showing the contrast of the brilliance, all 3 of them.
